The Samahang Pisika ng Visayas at Mindanao (SPVM) announces the 13th SPVM National Physics Conference to be held on October 20 - 22, 2011 at Andres Bonifacio College, Dipolog City, Philippines. This is an annual activity of the SPVM to showcase advances in physics research and education as well as enhance collaboration among physicists, physics educators and students in the Philippines, contributing to the development of the Philippine nation.
Submission of Papers
We are now accepting 1-page extended abstracts for oral and poster presentations for the conference. Equal emphasis will be given to research results in theoretical, experimental and computational physics and related fields, as well as new developments in physics pedagogy at the high school and college levels. We highly encourage submissions from all participants. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by SPVM Publications Committee before final acceptance is made. Deadline for submission of extended abstracts will be on August 28, 2011 (Sunday). Late submissions may not be published in the Conference Proceedings. Notice of acceptance will be on September 28, 2011 (Wed).
