𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝒂 𝑷𝒉𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖?

Hector started his journey in physics at Mindanao State University–Iligan in Iligan, Philippines, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics. He then went on to earn a master’s degree in Physics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Today, Hector works at Corning Optical Communications, where he helps develop advanced optical fiber technologies for high-speed communication systems. Over the years, he has worked on innovations in optical measurement, test automation, and system development that have helped improve product performance, manufacturing capability, and next-generation fiber technologies. He has led technical projects, helped deploy new measurement systems, published research papers, and contributed to intellectual property development.
